Lee Daniels shared a first look at the reboot of the 80s/90s hit show Wonder Years he's been working on. In this reimagining the story will be based in the 60s on a Black Family. Meet The Deans who live in Montgomery, Alabama and include musician pops, played by Dule Hill, Mom played by Saycon Sengbloh and their teen daughter played by Laura Kariuki. Can't forget who the story's perspective is based on, which is the awkward and insecure son Dean. His part will be narrated by Don Cheadle as 'Adult Dean', while young Dean will be played by Elisha "EJ" Williams. Still waiting on a release date from ABC, but it will definitely be added to my tune in list once we get one! Wonder how they're going to re-do the iconic Wonder Years Theme Song?
