After having to cancel everything for Summer last year, the San Mateo County Fair just announced they will be coming back this summer! The fair will start from Saturday, June 5th to Sunday, June 13th. They will be following all state and county health and safety guidelines which include outdoor live events to host up to 25% maximum capacity.
A press released by the San Mateo County Event Center CEO, Dana Stoehr, says,
The theme of the San Mateo County Fair is Where Tradition Meets Innovation, and we will certainly bring the favorite traditions of animals, pig races, BBQ, funnel cakes, carnival rides, and the Ferris Wheel back, with the innovations that provide a healthy and safe space for our community. The health and safety of our guests is our top priority.
This year the fair will have scheduled timed entry to allow limited capacity. All tickets will be sold online and digital tickets will be scanned at the gate for a touch-less experience. All guests MUST wear masks while attending this event.
