Looks like fans aren't buying Kylie Jenner's excuse as to why she only donated $5,000 to her former MUA's emergency brain surgery GoFuneMe. Kylie went viral over the weekend after she asked fans to donate to a gofundme which was to help her former makeup artist "friend" whom needed emergency brain surgery after a tragic car accident.
After Jenner's ask went viral, Kylie decided to clarify her post by stating the person in need was not her current MUA, but she wanted to help. In a lengthy post she wrote:
"clear up this false narrative that I've asked for money and am not paying for my makeup artist's medical bills."
In the statement, Kylie felt she needed to clarify that Rauda was not her current her makeup artist. "Unfortunately we don't have a personal relationship anymore but I have worked with him a few years ago and think he's the sweetest," she wrote.
Kylie then states she learned of Rauda's accident via her current makeup artist Ariel Tejada, and that "After learning in more detail about the accident it compelled [her] to visit his GoFundMe which was set at [$10,000]."
"They had already raised [$6,000] and I put in [$5,000] to reach their original goal and thought I'd post it on my stories to raise more awareness if anyone also felt compelled to share and donate."
Kylie continued:
"I don't know how all of this got so twisted but his family has reached out through Ariel and are very appreciative of all the donations, prayers, and love towards Sam," she continued by adding in a additional post: "Anyone that knows me knows that I do things from the heart and I try to be helpful whenever I can be."
While now we understand Jenner actually helped the original GofundMe hit its original goal, fans have still gone in on Jenner assuming she "knew" the goal had been raised to $60k! As of now, the GoFundMe is just a little below $100,000,with a new goal of $120,000. Regardless of the new information, this has not stopped fans from GOING INNNN on the $900 million worth Jenner!
