Vanessa Bryant is still mourning the loss of her husband, children's father, NBA legend Kobe Bryant whom died just over a year ago along with their teenage daughter Gianna Bryant. Meek Mill made headlines on Friday after a leaked snippet of his new song with Lil Baby included lyrics that were deemed "disrespectful" to Kobe Bryant and his family. Meek Mill is assumed to have said in his rap:
“Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe,”
Fans were QUICK to call out Meek Mill for the leaked snippet stating how tone def the lyrics were. Now, Vanessa Bryant responded as well via her Instagram stories she wrote:
“Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period.I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better that this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact"
Meek Mill hasn't addressed the scandal directly but fans assume his tweets Thursday addressed the situation when he Tweeted: “internet antics cannot stop me”
