The Alameda coast guard took more than 9,000 pounds of cocaine from three drug-smuggling ships. One of the three ships was a fishing vessel where they found 1,300 pounds of cocaine hidden. Another ship was carrying about 3,439 pounds and the third ship had more than 4,280 pounds. The total worth was said to estimate $156 million, nine drug trafficking suspects were taken into custody.
