On August 19, 1969 — Singer, rapper and West Coast legend Nate Dogg was born. Known to most as the King of Hooks, the G-funk artist created a style in the 90’s that shaped the sound of the West Coast and Hip-Hop culture. Since its birth with Dr. Dre’s 1992 “The Chronic”, G-Funk has become one of hip hop’s most unique and distinguished sub-genre’s in the game. Fans and artists all over the world remembered the King of G-Funk, Nate Dogg, in what would've been his 51st birthday.
