Barack Obama released his annual Summer Playlist on Monday, August 17th featuring several amazing artists, including the Bay Area's own HER and Raphael Saadiq!
HER, reigning from Vallejo, CA and often representing her 707 area code, was listed twice on Obama's list. He highlights her song 'As I Am,' as well as her collaboration with WizKid for their song entitled 'Smile'.
World renowned singer, songwriter, artist Raphael Saadiq from Oakland, CA, is also featured on Obama's list for his collaboration with KYLE for their song "The Sun" also featuring Bryson Tiller.
The 2020 Summer Playlist also includes Megan Thee Stallion, Teyana Taylor, Rihanna, Jorja Smith, J. Cole, Drake, Frank Ocean, Summer Walker and more!
