Nicolas Cage is getting ready for his next big role. He will be playing his first TV role ever as Joe Exotic. CBS will be making an eight episode series about how "he became Joe Exotic and how he lost himself to a character of his own creation."
The show is based off a Texas Monthly article by Leif Reigstad “Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild”.
