Don't back peddle now! Comedian, Ari Shaffer, is now back tracking his comments after his distasteful rant celebrating the death of Kobe Bryant went viral and sparked a #CancelAriShaffir movement.
In the rant, Ari Shaffir celebrated Kobe's death stating "every once in a while, there's a good story. A guy who got away with rape, is GONEEEEE." Watch below.
Following the viral video, Shaffir allegedly had comedy shows cancelled by venues, and was dropped by his talent agency. Now, Shaffir took to Instagram to post a lengthy message explaining the video as something he always does following the death of any celebrity. Check out his full statement below.
