Teen Who Was Denied Job Because Of His Dreads, Lands Modeling Contract!

How ironic. The same week California passes a law which makes it illegal to discriminate based on natural hairstyles, a young teen whom experienced discrimination because of his dreadlocks lands a life changing modeling contract with one of the biggest agencies in the world.

When Kerion Washington was rejected from a job at Six Flags Over Texas, he had no idea that would lead him to a modeling career. Kerion said the theme park discriminated against him because of his dreadlocks. A scout for IMG Models caught wind of Kerion's story and reached out to the 17-year-old.
