To some, R. Kelly's arrest is long over due. MSNBC is reporting the singer has been arrested in Chicago on Federal sex crime charges!
The 52-year-old singer was arrested by NYPD detectives and Homeland Security Investigation agents on sex trafficking charges. He is expected he will be brought to New York.
The singer has been under investigation since the "Surviving R. Kelly" documentary shined a light on previous allegations that the singer had sexually assaulted under age girls. Further details into charges are expected tomorrow.
