Meek Mill is set to return to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for the first time since his arrest and release from prison. The last time Meek appeared on the show, he was arrested just hours after his spot on the show for reckless endangerment. That arrest led to what many believe was a harsh sentence on a parole violence, that had him serve five months in prison.
He will be returning to the show on Sept. 4th, for a both an interview and musical performance. Which will be especially special because he will be accompanied by The Roots who are from Meek's home town of Philadelphia!
Meek announced earlier this year that he has a deal with Amazon and Roc Nation for a documentary series examining the criminal justice system and his battle with Judge Genece Brinkley, who has a high incarceration rates for people of color.
