Looks like the Bay Area has some pretty good schools!
According to a study done by Niche for the "2023 Best Schools," Henry M. Gunn High School in Palo Alto was ranked California's #1 best public school. KRON 4 reports, "Henry M. Gunn High School has a 96 percent graduation rate, 1,420 average SAT score, 32 average ACT score, 40 percent Advanced Placement class enrollment, and its student-teacher ratio is 19:1." Palo Alto High School and Saratoga High School were not far behind on the list.
As far as private schools go, The College Preparatory School in Oakland made the "Best Private High Schools" list at #2 with several Bay Area schools in Redwood City, Hillsborough and San Jose also making the Top 10.
