Outside Lands is a fun, exciting San Francisco tradition. If it's your first time attending the festival, stay prepared and check out these pro-tips:

  • Bring a jacket! San Francisco is known for its fog and unpredictable weather. Don't get caught in the cold without a sweater or jacket.
  • Don't forget a mobile charger! You'll likely spend hours on end at Golden Gate Park, so make sure you're charged up. You'll want to make sure you have enough battery for the ride home!
  • If you can, bring a blanket or something to sit on in-between acts. Golden Gate Park is beautiful, so you may want to lay out and enjoy the outdoors when you can.
  • Come hungry! There will be a lot of food and drink options while you're there.
  • Download the Outside Lands app. You can plan out your day, check out the line-up schedule and get alerted if there are any special guests or fun surprises you want to check out!
