Elon Musk has had it with remote work!
According to NPR, Musk sent out a company-wide emailing demanding Tesla employees to come back to the office or else they will be let go. If employees would like to work remotely, they must come into the office for a minimum 40 hours/week.
In the email, Musk explains:
"There are of course companies that don't require this, but when was the last time they shipped a great new product?... Tesla has and will create and actually manufacture the most exciting and meaningful products of any company on Earth. This will not happen by phoning it in."
