$12,000 worth of goods were reportedly stolen by an American Airlines employee in Cancun!
@keepingkisstine on TikTok came home from her vacation in Cancun and found her TSA luggage lock had been cut and tampered with, along with a luxury brand bag and ring stolen.
She explains that upon checking in her bag in Cancun, she had to open her luggage in front of the airline employee to retrieve a credit card and pay for the fees. Afterwards, she attempted to go through security, but there was an issue with her boarding pass. She reportedly went to the same agent who checked her bag and let them know she needed a new boarding pass and her bag re-checked with her new boarding pass information. Although she thought nothing of it at the time, she saw that her bag was still behind the desk.
When she got home, she noticed that her luggage lock had been cut and her items were missing.
She is currently working on getting fully compensated by American Airlines.
