Elementary school students Sofia and Nikko Chavez were part of an experimental trial for school age children receiving the Pfizer vaccine. Stanford University doctors have asked thousands of kids to participate in the testing, making sure they as families were comfortable being apart of the process.
Sofia and Nikko agree that it's pretty "awesome" to be apart of "saving the world".
Let's hope all this testing will allow those families who want their children to be vaccinated, get that opportunity sooner than later. Especially with these outbreaks that have been happening in bay area schools.
