Tina and her husband were on Broadway in Oakland at a stoplight when a man approached Tina's side of the car and spat on her then proceeded to demand that her husband exit the vehicle. Both Tina and her husband are Asian and she feels that this is why he approached them as he did. To her and to anyone who hears the story this is a hate crime which we have seen time and time again happen in the Bay Area.
“He was just circling our car trying to talk to my husband to get out but being pregnant, I didn’t want to put us and my baby at risk,” Tina said.
Tina is 7 months pregnant and was being taken to work and she says as soon as she got there she washed her face and her eyes out and made an appointment for a COVID test.
The incident was caught on dash cam, let's hope they find this man and let's pray that these hate crimes end.
