Katie Sorenson a Petaluma resident was shopping at a local Michael's art supply store and apparently the couple in question, Sadie and Eddie Martinez made a comment about her children and that's where the confusion and racial profiling began!
Katies told Sonoma police that the couple followed her around the store and to her car and when that was not enough to claimed that the husband Eddie Martinez tried to grab her stroller!
Police interviewed the couple who claimed that her story was absolutely false and they reviewed the store surveillance tape which shows the couple far away from Katie and her children which lead police to believe that the "momfluencer" made the whole story up and was looking for attention on social media which she received with over 4.5 million views and 80K followers!!
Katie Sorenson is now looking at possibly serving 6 months for lying to the police! Stop being scared of people of color Katie. As a mom, I'm always aware and worried but to fabric a whole story to gain clicks is crazy. You could have had this innocent couple arrested for nothing!! SMH Do better people.
