Hayward Police department is issuing a warning for women specifically who are being targeted in smash and grab robberies.
Women who recently shopped are being followed an robbed after getting in their cars. They are warning women who are carrying shopping bags from malls, shopping centers or leaving the bank to make sure they are on the look out for people following them and immediately lock the doors!
