If you are riding down 101 this weekend, more than likely you will see this billboard n Rohnert Park that looks like a missing persons report but really it is Sonoma County's plea for children to return to in-person schooling!
Some community members are against the billboard saying that it is harassing educators while also mocking missing children. I would agree, I think it is unnecessary, crude and disrespectful on so many levels.
The demand for children to return to the class room is high right now and educators everywhere are putting plans together to safely return but it is not something that happens overnight. The last thing we need to add to the pandemic is more divide especially when it involves our kids. This is not a you against me situation, we need to work together to insure the protection of health and education. It is unfortunate to see how petty both sides of this struggle have become. Let's do better people!!!
