Portland DoorDash driver was delivering a pizza when they saw a woman on the street. The driver got out of the car to check on the woman and called 911 after not finding her pulse.
The driver had his wife and two kids with him, they left the scene and had police pursue them thinking they hit the woman with the car. Police rammed his car and arrested him with guns drawn in front of his family. The man said,
I don’t know if Portland protocol on traffic stops now to, you know, drive into the vehicle, but I’m more than sure that’s not police policy.
Police will be reimbursing them for damages to the car, but he is considering legal action for the traumatic experience.
