Suffering from MASKITIS? Acne irritation from your mask? This might help!

I have had a few friends complain about the skin irritation and acne that they have been suffering from by wearing their mask for an extended amount of time. I also have had a few blemishes come up that I know are from wearing my mask!! So maybe if we talk about it we can figure out how to at least reduce it because we will be wearing these masks for a long time moving forward. Even after you are vaccinated health officials are urging the public to continue wearing masks.

One thing that I think people don't do enough is WASH THEIR MASKS! If you see make-up or dirt in your mask you are essentially just putting that back on your skin and that will for sure cause your skin to react! Wash your masks regularly if not everyday and through away your disposable masks after a days use, they are not meant to be used for days, weeks or months!!

Obviously if you suffer from skin irritation then wearing masks isn't your first encounter with acne issues or facial skin changes. Having a regular cleansing routine is CLUTCH in protecting your skin from exposure to anything that might cause break-outs! The video above is an example of a turmeric based facial blend which can also help with skin color evening but this may not be for you. The basics work pretty well if you stay on your routine which may have to be beefed up with wearing a mask all day.

The basics are just to push yourself to keep your face clean to avoid a completion you do not want! Wash your face more regularly. If you wear mask-up carry wipes to at least clean around your mouth and where the mask covers, no one sees that part of you anyway! Wash your masks and use healthy skin promoting masks at night before you go to bed!

Nobody wants what they are calling "MASKITIS" so get to work!!!
