Tobey King of Corpus Christi Texas recognized the greatness that was the Bernie Mitten meme and got to crocheting and created a Bernie Sanders doll with an almost exact depiction of his Inauguration Day fashion ensemble.
Tobey's crocheted Bernie Sanders doll sold for $20k on eBay and she donated all the proceeds to Meals on Wheels of America. Tobey was inspired by Sanders himself and his movement of creating a meme clothing site where fans of the Vermont Senator could purchase a crewneck sweatshirt with his Inaugural depiction on it where he is donating those proceeds to Meals on Wheels of Vermont.
I've seen several of these crocheted Bernies roaming around the web and eBay so if you are like this generous buyer who paid that whopping $20,300 for Tobey's Bernie then go get you one and hopefully the seller does something good with the money like this woman!!
