86% of dermetologists are reporting that their patients are requesting a change in there facial features to change how they look on ZOOM meetings!
A study was done by Dr. A. Shaudi Kourosh who works at Harvard Medical School about the online meeting cosmetic treatment surge. She asked 100 board certified dermatologists what was the response from their patients to this demand to look good on online meetings and their response was 86% of their patients wanted to change their image to look better on their video meetings.
Signs of this subconscious feeling of inadequacy obviously leads to a more serious issue of BBD short for body dysmorphic disorder which can sometimes lead to a feeling of worthlessness and at it's worse level suicide.
The pandemic has caused many people to have to resort to online meetings and classes and already online images have over come many with filters and whatever it takes to look better than your perception of yourself.
