San Francisco Rent Hits All Time Low Since 2014 As Prices Continue to Drop

New Study Names San Francisco As Most Expensive To Buy A Home

Rent prices in the Bay Area have skyrocketed in the past ten years and renters can finally breathe a little as prices have continued to drop.

According to SF GATE:

The median price of a one-bedroom last month was $2,830, a 20.3% decrease from September 2019, according to Zumper. Not only is this drop among the largest yearly decreases Zumper has recorded since the company began tracking rental prices in 2014, but it was also the first time the median price of a one-bedroom in San Francisco was priced below $3,000

San Francisco isn't the only Bay Area city seeing drops in rent. Oakland has also seen a steady decline and prices reportedly dropped 2.1% last month.
