Cow Palace in Daily City is housing animals being evacuated by the fires. They are taking in majority of the animals from chickens, donkeys, rabbits, cats, and llamas. They are also housing horses and livestock being displaces by the CZU Lightning Complex.
The CZU Lightning Complex fire is only 5% contained as of Saturday, August 22 expanding to more than 63,000 acres.
