The Unites States Postal Service is warning states about missing mail in ballot deadlines. They have sent a letter to people of different states educating on how to complete and send the mail in ballot.
The spokesperson for the USPS, Martha Johnson, said in a statement:
The letters advised election officials to be mindful of the potential inconsistencies between the Postal Service’s delivery standards, which have been in place for a number of years and have not changed, and the provisions of state law
In California, all registered voters will be mailed a ballot. Voters can expect the ballots no later than 29 days prior to Election Day.
