On late Wednesday (August 12) the Oakland Unified School District reached a tentative deal with the Oakland Education Association on distance learning protocols before the start of the school year. OUSD spokesperson, John Sasaki, did not provide details of the agreement just yet. The two sides said they were still “fine-tuning” some of the details, and would not release more information about the agreement. The memorandum of understanding will be voted on over the next week by OEA members.
