Grubhub driver Aamir Mohammed, was arrested in Chicago after running over a restaurant employee. This all happened after the restaurant owner asked him to wait outside due to social distancing measures. The driver got upset and kicked the door and stormed out of the restaurant. The two started arguing outside as the man was in his car. Her employees took out their cellphone to get the drivers license plate and call police, the lady stood in front of his car so he wouldn't be able to leave. That's when the man became even more agitated and ran over the lady. She suffered injuries in both of her shoulders, pelvis, and head.
According to TMZ, the man was booked on various counts:
- 2 counts of aggravated battery while using a deadly weapon and causing great bodily harm
- 1 felony count of failure to report and accident/injury
- 1 misdemeanor count for leaving the scene
- 1 misdemeanor count of driving with a never-issued license.
The man will no longer be working for Grubhub.
