Fat Joe was joined by Ashanti on Instagram live where he spilled some tea Ashanti never knew. Fat Joe said that Irv Gotti and Ja Rule originally wanted Jennifer Lopez to do the chorus for the 2001 hit "What's Luv".
When i got to the studio...they played whats luv and you're on it and they was telling me yo this is for you and JLO they wanted the latinos on it
Ashanti was shocked after hearing what Joe had to say. It's been over ten years and she said she never knew that and 'they stayed pulling songs from me'.
