San Francisco's Saint Paulus Lutheran Church sued Zoom Company in San Jose after their online bible study was disrupted by an online invader, or 'zoombombed'. The class was held on May 6 via Zoom for eight senior citizens. During the class, a hacker took over the students computer screens and disabled their control buttons playing pornographic videos.
The lawsuit claims negligence, breach of implied contract, unjust enrichment and unfair business practices against Zoom for failure to provide security.
