Chicago has been having parties and other large gatherings during the pandemic. On Sunday, April 26, police broke up a house party with more than 50 people. The owner of the home was given a citation for disorderly conduct.
Chicago Mayor, Lori Lightfoot, went to twitter to say,
It goes against all the things we’ve been talking about. Every single person there who put themselves at risk puts the next person and the next person that they come into contact with at risk
