The city of Bolinas in Marin County will be the first city in the United States to test all of their residents. The community privately funded for all of the tests and partnered with UCSF. Two free tests will be provided to the residents, one test is for COVID-19 and the other test will see if anyone has antibodies to the virus.
Residents will have to make appointments to get tested at Mesa Park this week. Once tested, residents will know their results within 48-72 hours. The data collected will let their community know how widespread the virus is in a community.
