Cases continue to grow in the Bay Area, there are more than 5,000 coronavirus cases. On Thursday, April 16, seven new cases were reported in San Francisco and 20 more cases were reported in San Mateo.
The current number of cases in each county are as follows:
- Santa Clara: 1,793 Deaths: 65
- San Francisco: 1,019 Deaths: 17
- Alameda Cases: 962 Deaths: 36
- San Mateo: 767 Deaths: 28
- Contra Costa: 631 Deaths: 16
- Marin: 184 Deaths: 10
- Sonoma: 163 Deaths: 2
- Solano: 141 Deaths: 2
- Napa: 38 Deaths: 2
Total number of cases: 5,698
