Most Americans have not been driving as usual and there have been less accidents on the road. Some auto insurance companies are saying they will be giving their customers a break and give back millions. Geico policy holders will receive 15% credit. They will also pause coverage cancellations because of non-payments. Liberty Mutual and most auto insurance companies will also halt cancellations of coverage because of no payments and late fees.
USAA is giving their members 20% credit on two months of premiums. In total they will be giving out about $520 million. Allstate insurance says most policyholders will get back 15% of their premium in April and May. This is great news for auto insurance holders, specially if they have not been driving more than ten miles in the past month.
