Inmate at a federal prison in Elkton, Ohio just risked everything by pulling out his phone and showing the world what it's like inside prison during COVID-19. Currently from what we know, three people have died inside that federal prison.
The man went on Facebook live and showed his cell mate who was struggling to breathe, you can also hear coughing in the background. He then showed the outside of the prison through the window and showed a tent on the basketball court where he said the dead bodies are being kept.
CNN Political Commentator Angela Rye posted the video to her instagram telling people:
To submit a complaint about a federal prison:
1. File a formal complaint directly with the facility.
2. File a complaint with the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Regional Office that oversees the facility.
3. Contact BOP Headquarters or the Department of Justice - Office of the Inspector General, which oversees the BOP.
The man ended the video saying he only has one year left in prison and he does not want to die. He gives a shoutout to people he knows saying, "this might be the last time you see me if I don't get out."
