Students at Esperanza Elementary School will have a new way to get their grab and go lunch. The district will be giving out food from their new food truck. They will be giving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to students and their families. They have also received help from Alameda County Community Food Bank and will provide families with bags of groceries and adult meals.
The families in this community have been one of the hardest hit by the layoffs during this outbreak. The Golden State Warriors along with Numi Tea have helped this community with services. If you wish to donate and help them raise money for groceries and household items, click here.
