Oakland To Make Grants Available For Small Businesses

Tesco Opens First Of Its "Fresh And Easy" Stores In L.A

The City of Oakland has just announced they have emergency grants available for small businesses impacted by COVID-19. The grants available are for a total of $5,000 to low-income small business owners. The grants will help cover rent, utilities, and employee payroll.

The city's working solutions will be administering who get's the grants. The business must be based in Oakland and show proof they have suffered financial loss due to COVID-19. Business owners must have an income that is below 50% of the area median income.
