Four of the largest banks have agreed on a grace period on mortgage payments for families in California.
- Wells Fargo
- Citi
- JP Morgan
- US Bank
The four banks listed have agreed to defer mortgage payments for 90 days. Other chartered banks and credit unions have also committed.
Governor Gavin Newsom said all homeowners with mortgages are eligible regardless of income. Homeowners must submit documentation that demonstrate how they have been negatively impacted.
