Health Experts Say Infectious Virus Can Live In Clothes for up to A Week

BOLIVIA-CLIMATE CHANGE-WATER

Health experts are now saying it is very important to wash your clothes right away if you have been in an area with many people.

An infectious virus can stay in your clothes for up to a week or more. You should also be aware of other people who touch your clothes after sneezing or coughing, without washing their hands.

Some tips to sanitize clothes are:

  1. Wash new clothes by soaking them in 1 cup of baking soda before washing them.
  2. Don't overload your washer. Allow enough room for water to completely clean dirt.
