The owner of a New Jersey 7-Eleven made a mix of cleanser and water, then sold it as hand sanitizer in a spray bottle. The 47 year old woman is now charged with endangering the welfare of a child and deceptive business practices.
The victims were four children ages 10 and 11. They were treated at a local hospital and will recover. A total of 14 bottles were sold for $2.50 each. The police said the owner did not mean to hurt anybody.
