Warriors fans had a tough 2019 after all-star player Steph Curry injured his left hand during a game on October 30, 2019. But their luck may be looking up as it is being reported that Curry is targeting a return to the Warriors lineup on March 1st.
According to NBC Sports, Curry is planning on playing against the Washington Wizards at Chase Center on March 1st. However, that date is not a guarantee. He will be re-evaluated on February 1st and everything is dependent on where he is at in his recovery process. NBC Sports Bay Area's Warriors reporter, Kerith Burke speculated that Curry could be put on a minutes restriction to ease him back in after a long-term injury.
During the Warriors' win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday Curry told Warriors broadcasters that "Rehab is going great, every day is tough. When you're hurt, and we've been there in some way shape or form, its a grind, every day kind of being monotonous with the little strength workouts you have to do, and you understanding that it takes time and patience to get back to 100 percent."
Fingers crossed that Curry will be 100 percent by March 1st.
