Even though the season ended in mid June, the Warriors officially left Oracle Arena on June 30th...and yesterday, the last sign (pun intended) of them in Oakland was removed. Crews worked Thursday morning to remove the "ORACLE" lettering from the sides of the arena.
They're still having concerts and events at the venue under the Oracle Arena name, but the naming rights will be something new in the coming months. The now former home of our Warriors will referred to as "Oakland Arena" until a new sponsor deal gets done. No matter what it gets named, we're going to call it "Roaracle" no matter what.
