The Golden State Warriors held preliminary auditions for their senior dance team on Sunday in Walnut Creek. This is the second season for the 'Hardwood Classics" dance team and they are already a huge fan favorite with plenty of people ready to join the team. Over 70 dancers, all 55 years or older, showed up to learn a routine from a professional choreographer and show their skills.
Albert Harnois, a former 'Hardwood Classics dancer said, "A lot of us are here because it keeps us going, it keeps us youthful, and it keeps us loving life." He then added, "It was a great experience last year...Just the energy of being with the Golden State Warriors dance teams. The Warriors is a great organization."
Out of the 70 that auditioned, 20 will be picked by the judges to join the team.
