In wake of the tragic mass shootings that have taken place recently, the producers of Outside Lands have heavily increased their security for this weekend's event at Golden Gate Park. In addition to more police officers in attendance, there will also be:
- Police in tactical gear
- Double fencing in 'strategic' places
- More barricades
"You are going to see a lot of police officers in the event, around the event, we will have a robust presence of police officers," said Chief William Scott.
