San Leandro Police Arrest Man Wearing K9 Officer Uniform at Cherry Festival

Update 6/4:

Via KRON 4:

Police arrested Sergio Taylor at the San Leandro Cherry Festival on Saturday for impersonation of a police officer and he has allegedly committed similar criminal acts in at least two Bay Area cities. In early May, a bar fight broke out at Kip's Bar in Berkeley & Taylor was caught on camera leaving the bar and returning in a police-style uniform with 'K-9 Unit' written on the back and a vest & pulling out a gun and pointing it at people.
A San Leandro Officer spotted Taylor dressed as a police officer & other officers were alerted to assist when Taylor was seen trying to flee the area in a black car resembling vehicles that officers drive. They were able to stop and detain him based on the warrant that was issued the month before.
Officers searched his car and found a training gun, which does not shoot real bullets, under the front seat. In addition to the gun, they found bullets and magazines.
Taylor was then taken into custody by the San Leandro police, in addition to the German Shepard dog that he had with him at the time. The dog was cared for by the department until it was released to Taylor's family.
Police say he was employed by 'All About Security' in Vallejo and was working for the company.

I woke up Saturday (6/1) morning and decided to walk to the 110th annual San Leandro Cherry Festival for some nice wholesome entertainment, but as soon as I got their I saw San Leandro Police arresting a man wearing a "K9 Officer" uniform. It's assumed he was impersonating a cop because the uniform didn't seem to fit him right, but I haven't received confirmation on the actual charges. The the man who was arrested had a gun on him and an actual German Shepard. Police confiscated his gun and took the DOG into custody!
