UPDATE: BART police took John Cowell into custody Friday night at the Pleasant Hill #BART station for stabbing & killing Nia Wilson & injuring her sister Letifah Wilson. Police found the knife used to kill Nia at a nearby construction site.
One woman was killed and another hospitalized in a random stabbing attack at the MacArthur BART station Sunday night.
The family of Nia Wilson and Letifah Wilson are in our thoughts and prayers this morning as we have learned the two sisters were attacked at the MacArthur BART Station in Oakland, California. Tashiya, 20 has been treated at a local hospital, while, Nia, 18, unfortunately, has passed away.

BART police are searching for the suspect who is described as a 5'9" white male, who is heavy set with short blonde hair in his 20s or 30s.
The stabbing took place around 9:45 P.M. on Sunday (July 22) at the MacArthur station.
As of now, there is no reported motive for the stabbing & this story is developing.
