Shoutout to KD for playing Santa for some kids in the Tenderloin! 🎅🏿💛💙
Kevin Durant showed up to Larkin Street Youth Services in San Francisco with hella holiday gifts for the kids at the transitional housing center!
"Yesterday was such a special day for the young people in our services. We were thrilled to host the [Durant] at one of our housing sites where more than a dozen young people live. After touring the entire site, Kevin handed out gifts including KD gear like shoes and backpacks as well as other essentials like warm blankets, gift cards and bicycles," said Sherilyn Adams, executive director, Larkin Street Youth Services.
"KD chatted with every young person who attended and posed for photos with anyone who asked. His sincerity was very obvious as he spent time checking out an app being developed by one of our young people, while gently ribbing another about his University of Michigan gear."
According to their website, the non-profit has served over 75,000 young people, ages 12 to 24, who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness. They provide a range of services including outreach, shelter, housing, health, wellness, education and employment.
