A recently relocated family in Pasadena is now concerned for their safety after a woman brandishing a pickaxe showed up at their door and started shattering their glass windows; the entire incident was captured on camera.
The incident happened Monday at around 5PM on the 1700 block of Asbury Drive.
The home owner said his mother-in-law was babysitting his daughter, who was 6 weeks old and napping beside a window, at the time.
The woman, later identified by police as Beverly Baker, 65, can be seen in the video approaching the home with the pickax. As she enters the porch, she breaks several windows. In the background, you can hear a woman screaming.
After a 30 minute standoff, police were able to arrest 65-year-old Beverly Baker. Police do not have a motive for the vandalism but did state Baker also owns a property in the neighborhood.
